Lucente is Luce’s second wine, sourced from the same vineyards as Luce. The grapes are carefully selected to yield a wine with a contemporary flair, and one that reflects its distinctive, unique terroir. Year: 2012 Taste: dry Flavour: Intense purple-red colour. The bouquet is fragrance-rich, with scents of ripe fruit among which are Vignola cherry, raspberry and currant. Pleasantly fresh notes of eucalyptus and mint are accompanied by aromas of rosemary and sage. Sweet notes of coffee and toasted hazelnut accentuate the complexity of the wine. The palate is well rounded and velvety with a very fine and silky tannin texture, nicely integrated and balanced with the alcohol component. Subtle hints of almond linger in the background. Grape variety: Merlot, Sangiovese Region: Toskana Country of Origin: Italy Alcohol by volume [% AbV]: 13.5
